HOW DO I SHOP AT THE TIESHOPROMA?

Shopping at the TIESHOPROMA is quite simple:

  • For a start, you may browse the shop’s ties through the category menu bar, or use the search bar.
  • It is possible to click on any picture of any tie and enter into the single product’s window. From there, you can take a better look at the item you have chosen by magnifying it. There are usually two or more pictures for each tie, except for the bow-ties.
  • Once you have located your item, click on the 'ADD TO CART' red button, this will add the item you have chosen to the “SHOPPING CART”. But don’t worry, if an item is in the “SHOPPING CART” it does not automatically mean that you must buy it.
  • Review your items by clicking the 'SHOPPING CART' link at the top right of each page. From there, you can either proceed to the check-out, give us special instructions regarding your order - such as a different address, for example - choose whether or not you wish to use Paypal to complete your order, or add other products to your “SHOPPING CART”. By clicking “Continue to check-out” you will land on the customer information page, here you must complete the format and include a valid email address, your name, last name, street address, city, country, province, postal code and phone (optional, but strongly recommended). This way we can send you the item you have chosen. Once you have entered your contact info, proceed to the shipping method. Right now, we offer as many shipping methods as possible. Once you have chosen the shipping method, you can check-out by choosing a payment method.
  • Simply, click “CHECK OUT” to complete your order. You can also call us at +39 06 689 24 85 if you prefer to order over the phone. We are located in Rome, Italy, so be aware that this will add extra costs to your phone bill.

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES THE TIESHOPROMA ACCEPT?

All our payments are processed via Paypal, the world's largest online payment company.

We accept:

  • Visa / Delta / Electron
  • MasterCard / Eurocard
  • PayPal
  • Maestro
  • American Express

Debit cards are also considered a viable option but only if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo. 

 

IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ONLINE AT THE TIESHOPROMA?

The TIESHOPROMA is part of the SHOPIFY network. SHOPIFY is one of the most secure company when it comes to online shopping, so you don’t have to worry about that.

Moreover, we also use Paypal for payments and Paypal adds yet another tier of protection to your online transaction being the world's largest online payment gateway. Paypal also protects your card details, so they are safe at all times. Please notice that, unless you indicate a different address, we will ship the item you have purchased to Paypal confirmed addresses.

 

IS MY SHIPMENT INSURED?

It depends on the type of shipping you choose. The Standard Shipping in Italy is not insured and there is no tracking number available. The Basic International Shipping provides no insurance either and the tracking number is only available in Italy. But if you choose any other kind of shipping method, your items will be insured while transiting from our store to your shipping address: all items will be covered against theft and fortuitous damage. However, insurance coverage ends with delivery at the shipping address. So, should you find your box is damaged upon arrival, or has been opened upon arrival, we suggest that you refuse the shipment.

 

HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I HAVE TO PAY IN DUTIES AND TAXES?

All prices displayed include taxes. If you reside in Italy, or Europe, you don’t have to worry about that. However, please keep in mind that all local/state taxes and/or use tax and duties are your responsibility.
 

WHICH COUNTRIES DOES THE TIESHOP ROMA SHIP TO?

We ship items everywhere but with some exceptions. If you have problems during the checkout process send us an email (tieshoproma@gmail.com) and we will do our best to help.

 

DO I NEED TO SIGN FOR MY DELIVERY?

Yes, we require a signature upon delivery.

 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS ONCE I PLACED AN ORDER?

No. Unfortunately we are unable to redirect orders to a different address once the order is placed. Therefore, please make sure you provide the correct shipping address.

 

CAN I ADD ITEMS TO AN EXISTING ORDER?

No, we cannot combine orders or add items to an existing order. 

 

HOW DO I KNOW YOU RECEIVED MY ORDER?

As soon as your order is placed, we will send you an email confirmation. In the rare occasion that an ordered item is not available, you will receive an email and a refund because you will always be charged at the time the order is placed.

 

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER? WHERE IS MY ORDER?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with order details & a tracking number.

 

HOW CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

In order to return an item, make sure you request your Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and send us your unused and undamaged items back to us within 14 days of receiving your order. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE RETURNS POLICY PAGE http://www.tieshoproma.com/pages/returns-policy

Items must be returned new, unused and with all garment tags still attached including all gift boxes. Furthermore, to ensure that your return is adequately protected in transit, we recommend you send your items back to us in the original packaging provided.

 

DO I GET A FULL REFUND FOR MY RETURNED MERCHANDISE?

All correctly returned products will be refunded to the purchaser's credit card, apart from the initial shipping costs.

Outside Italy, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly, though we cannot guarantee that.

Please be aware that it may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. 

 

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION SAFE WITH YOU?

Please rest assured that your personal information is kept private and confidential. At no point will we rent, sell or abuse your data.

When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address and telephone number.

By default, TIESHOPROMA may send you emails with our latest arrivals and noteworthy things about classic men's clothing, style and accessories. If you would prefer not to receive these emails, let us know and we will stop sending you emails.
